Based at Plymouth, ‘TopGun’ is a fast Portland 10 dive charter boat, a modern 10m hard boat with a stern mounted diver lift and large benches. Powered by modern twin 350hp Caterpillar marine diesel engines, ‘TopGun’ cruises at around 16 knots , making even the longer journeys shorter. ‘TopGun’s galley is fitted with a microwave and an always hot kettle. ‘TopGun’ is also equipped with a standard marine toilet.

‘TopGun’ operates under an MCA Category Two certificate (up to 60 miles offshore). We carry all the MCA required safety equipment, plus medical oxygen kits, and have plenty of modern navigation and communication technology. We generally take 10 divers/non-divers, although we are licenced for upto 12 divers, plus crew.

Skippered by an experienced RYA qualified skipper and rebreather diver, you’ll be in very safe and knowledgeable hands. We also work with an experienced diver crewmember on every charter, to assist both the skipper and divers with anything they require.

We offer an "over and above" charter boat service, offering more of a ‘weekends experience’ than just a day shuttle. Tea coffee hot chocolate bottled water and soup will be available all day, between dives warmed pasties will be served and of course, biscuits and chocolate for those with a sweet tooth! All this included in the very attractive charter price of £450 per day.

Please Note : new car parking arrangements at The MountBatten Centre

Parking is now controlled at the Mountbatten Centre. If you're not stopping in the Mountbatten Centre accomodation, please be aware of the strict 40 minute loading/unloading rules, as stated on the many notice boards in the area. If you're not stopping at the Mountbatten Centre but wish to use their carpark and facilities please ensure to pay and log your vehicle in at reception. There is of course, plenty of spaces in the council car park over the road and on street parking, all free of charge, within a couple of minutes walk!
